Jim has lived in Orlando, Florida for 54 years and loves it! After going through all levels of school in Central Florida and a short-lived baseball career, he began a career in the automobile industry. He spent 30 years in dealership management. He really enjoyed the challenges and success he had in this industry. He met a lot of great people (customers and fellow employees) that will be good friends for life.
During this time, he got married and had a daughter, Casey. Jim and his wife, Veronica, just celebrated their 40th Wedding Anniversary! In their free time, they enjoy spending time with their daughter, son in law, Dan, and their 2 grandchildren that they were blessed with!
After taking some time off from his automobile career, he and Casey decided to form a team and get into the real estate business together! After passing the state required course exam and then the State of Florida Real Estate Exam, the ‘Father and Daughter Team’ was formed!
They both immediately signed up with Strickland Realty Group as Sales Associates. They are a family business with Nancy Strickland (broker) who is his sister-in-law, Amanda Binns (sales associate) who is his niece, his daughter, Casey Carr (sales associate) and himself (sales associate).
Jim is excited to be working alongside his family members to help anyone find their dream home or property or sell their current home or property. He will provide you first class assistance in all of your real estate needs and create lasting relationships with all of his clients.
